Meet the Coaches

At The Philasophy, we believe the right coach makes all the difference. Makayla and I share the same no-extremes, sustainable approach, but bring our own unique styles and experiences to the table. You’ll be matched with the coach who best fits your goals and needs—so you can feel supported, confident, and strong every step of the way.

My Story

I created The Philasophy because I wanted to build

a safe, supportive space for women that I wish I had.

For as long as I can remember, I struggled with my weight, body image, and relationship with food. Like so many women, I believed that shrinking my body was the only way to feel and be accepted, so I turned to diets—every diet. I cycled through Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, Nutrisystem, and even dabbled in the Master Cleanse (remember the early 2000s craze?). At one point, I even abused laxatives in desperation.

By my early adulthood, my eating and exercise habits had become extremely disordered. I was burnt out, constantly at war with my body, and mentally exhausted from chasing the next “fix.”

The turning point came when I discovered intuitive eating.

Learning to eat based on my body’s cues—rather than strict rules.

I slowly began to rebuild trust with my body, let go of the all-or-nothing mindset, and focus on moving in ways that felt good instead of punishing.

Over time, I stopped trying to control my body and started learning how to care for it. That shift is what ultimately led me here—to becoming a coach who helps other women do the same.

This isn’t about restriction or perfection.

It’s about creating balance, freedom, and joy in how you move, eat, and live.

I’ve had the privilege of working with women from all walks of life—helping them ditch the extremes, heal their relationship with food and fitness, and finally feel confident in their own skin.

I know how it feels to be stuck in the cycle of diets, guilt, and burnout. And I also know how freeing it feels to finally break out of it. That’s why I do what I do—and why I’d be honored to help you find that freedom.
